Our Story
Chris Acker, at age 16, bought his first dump truck and began his journey to pursue his goal of starting an excavating company. Soon after he bought a bulldozer, and in 1987, Acker Excavating was born. Since the start Chris has valued being an efficient and hard worker. Those same values stand true today. With over 30 years in business, it has grown to include his family and many employees. In addition, his fleet of machinery and trucks has increased extensively. Acker Excavating, LLC has become a respected and largely known excavating company throughout the Addison County area.
